Steps to become an IAS Officer for a 10th WBBSE student?
Hello Sir, I am studying in 10th standard with WBBSE Board. I want to become an IAS Officer. I want to prepare for the Civil Service examinations. Can you tell me what are the steps I should follow to become an IAS Officer?

To be IAS Officer follow following steps-
1. Complete your higher secondary education with any stream. 2. Complete your graduation with any specialization. 3. Prepare for UPSC exam. 4. Apply for UPSC exam. 5. Crack UPSC Exam with highest rank. With these steps , you will be eligible for IAS Officer. |

Steps to become an IAS Officer for a 10th WBBSE student:
1. Clear your 12th. 2. Then clear your Graduation. 3 Apply for the UPSC examination. 4. Dedicate most of your time in studies. 5. You can also take up coaching classes for UPSC for IAS Institute. 6. Appear IAS Preliminary examination. 7. After Passed IAS Preliminary, then appear Final Examination. If first chance you passed final, then continue your attempts up to your limit of age. |

To become an I.A.S Officer, you have to appear and qualify in Civil Service examination.
Civil Service examination is conducted by UPSC. The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. So, now you need to continue with your studies and than prepare for examination as per syllabus of examination. For detail information about examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |

Civil Service examination is conducted by UPSC for recruitment as an I.A.S, I.P.S etc.
The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. The age limit is 21-32 years with relaxation in age limit for reserved category. So, now you need to just pursue your academic qualification. In between the continuation of your academic course, you can make a proper strategy to prepare for examination as per the syllabus of the examination.
