What course should I pursue to become a Pharmacist after completing 12th?
Hello everyone, I am in 12th Science standard. I am good in Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry. I am also interested in Pharmacist. I want to become a Pharmacist. What I have to do after 12th for become this. So, tell me about the course

In order to become eligible for entry into pharmacy courses, you must first clear 12th examination with physics, chemistry and biology / maths. You can pursue one of the two courses to become a pharmacist after 12th.
D Pharmacy - Diploma in Pharmacy B Pharmacy - Diploma in Pharmacy D Pharmacy - This is a two year course and is a minimum requirement to be a registered pharmacist. You can acquire the licence to practice as pharmacist as well as to run a Pharmacy shop. B Pharmacy - This is a 4 year undergraduate course and is the best route towards becoming a pharmacist, as it open up options for further studies. You can also take entry into B Pharma after D pharma. |

If you want to be a Pharmacist in future then you have to apply for Bachelor in Pharmacy. Bachelor in pharmacy is a 3 year degree course and to pursue the candidate must have completed 12th standard with either PCB or PCM from a recognised board with at least 50% marks.
You have to qualify the entrance exam that is conducted by respective University where you want to seek admission. |

You have to pursue Bachelor of Pharmacy in order to be a Pharmacist. Bachelor of Pharmacy is an undergraduate pharmacy course and pharmacy is the art and science of preparing and dispensing drugs and medicines.
The duration of B Pharmacy is 4 years course. B Pharmacy the curriculum provides valuable knowledge of Healthcare and Biochemical science. Bachelor degree in pharmacy requires a candidate to have clear 10 + 2 with physics, Chemistry, Maths or physics, chemistry, biology or physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology as subjects. After completing 12th in science stream physics, chemistry and biology / maths. You may go for diploma in pharmacy course or bachelor in pharmacy .
course, former is of two years duration and later is of 4 years diploma. You may choose either of them. |

You can go for D.Pharma of 2 years duration, if you are looking to become a Pharmacist in lesser time. This is the minimum qualification to apply for Pharmacist registration.
You also have option for B.Pharma, but you have to study 4 years for it. Also, it will help you to get a degree qualification. |
