Re: What is the validity of NIOS marksheet in central government jobs?
NIOS stands for National Institute of Open Schooling. This is a central government recognized board and approved by Ministry of Human Resource and Development for conducting board examination at 10th and 10+2 standard. There is nothing to worry about if a candidate has done these standards from NIOS.
NIOS marksheets are valid for all type of government jobs and entrance exams for admission in undergraduate courses in various discipline all over India. You can apply for any entrance exam after NIOS board study. |

Re: What is the validity of NIOS marksheet in central government jobs?
NIOS ( National Institute of Open Schooling) is an open schooling board in which there is no need to attend the regular classes.
NIOS is undertaken by the union government of India. It is highly recognized board. NIOS is similar to CBSE and ISC board but the difference is that these boards are regular board where as NIOS is an open schooling board. But it does not mean that NIOS is not valid. It is highly recognized and valuable board of India through this board you can get government jobs. |

Re: What is the validity of NIOS marksheet in central government jobs?
NIOS is a government recognized open schooling board and it is valid for any government job as well as higher studies in India. No government job can deny you a job just on account of being a NIOS student.
Central government doesn't have any issues with NIOS for jobs. All you need to to is qualify the exam with excellent marks. |

Re: What is the validity of NIOS marksheet in central government jobs?
NIOS is a recognized open schooling mode of education and you will be eligible for government jobs without any doubt. You must fulfill the eligibility criteria for subjects studied and the percentage of marks in the qualifying exam to apply for government jobs in India.
The only problem for NIOS and open schooling qualification is private jobs where employers prefer regular candidates more than distance mode. Still, many small companies don't have any issues with open schooling. |
