Whether the decision of school is correct in marks calculation?

My ward scored following marks in Maths and Physics (Theory) CBSE school in Ghaziabad ( Private school)

Maths = 65 out of 160 in internal exams and 29 out of 100 in Annual exam.
Physics= 47 out of 150 in internal exams and 21.5 out of 70 in Annual exam.

The school has declared him failed. Please advice me whether the decision of school is correct or the student should get grace marks. Since they fail the student on the edge of qualifying numbers.

The total percentage that your son/daughter is getting after calculation of given numbers it is coming 33.75% which is on the edge of qualifying. I think you need to talk to the teacher or principal regarding this. There might be some confusion while calculating the total or might be the passing marks is 35% or more. It will be better if you contact your school authority regarding this matter.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
