To get eligible for such exam you must possess a degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical science with specialization like Pharmacology or Microbiology from recognized university.Age must be from 18 years to 36 maximum.The examination is conducted every year and candidates are selected in various categories of Drug control department. Your salary varies from state to state in AP it's 9300-34800 + other incentives.

Written exam consists of two papers

Paper I i.e Pharmacy of 200 marks having 100 questions with 2 hours duration and
Paper II with 50 question 50 marks with 1 hour duration.
