How many seats are there in SCRA?
Please tell me how many no of seats in scra...please tel me how many are they

SCRA stands for Special Class Railway Apprentice. Union Public Service Commission conducts entrance exam every year.
The total number of seats for SCRA 2014 was 42. Every year UPSC releases the notification having details of seats available, it may vary also. Eligibility criteria: You must have passed the 10+2 from a recognized board with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects like Physics or Chemistry. 10+2 appearing candidates can also apply for the exam. The age limit is 17-21 years on the 1st August of year of examination. Scheme of SCRA examination: Paper I : General Ability test: 2hours duration and of 200 marks. Paper II: Physical Sciences: 2 hours duration and of 200 marks. Paper III: Mathematics: 2 hours duration and of 200 marks. So written exam is of 600 marks and those who qualify the exam are called for interview and it is of 200 marks also. The cut off for 2014 SCRA written exam was 349/600 and 25% marks in each paper.
