your son's score is 422 in GATE. congratulations!!
coming to point, for admission in COEP for further studies, no daubt they consider GATE score, but they also carries their own entrance exam.
this exam is only for their own college in private. this test is so similar to the GATE exam.
the admission in the college is decided on the student scoring & performance in this entrance exam.
make your son prepare for this exam, if you want to admit in COEP.
