I am an NIOS student of class 12 . I have read that to apply for cap rounds it is necessary to produce the 12th leaving certificate which NIOS doesn't provide. so pls guide...

The Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai is the competent authority for admission to First year Engineering by Centalised Admission process (CAP).

CHECK LIST TO BE SUBMITTED FOR CAP ROUNDS :

1.Class 10th Mark sheet and passing Certificate

2. Class 12th Mark sheet and passing certificate.

3. Leaving Certificate/ Transfer certificate.

4. CET/ Mains score card.

5. Caste certificates.

6. Pass port size photographs.

ISSUE OF MARK SHEET AND CERTIFICATE BY NIOS :

* Provisional and Migration certificate will be issued for only successful candidates.

* NIOS doesn't Issue any Bonafide/ Transfer/ School leaving/ Character/ Date of birth certificate separately to its learners.

* No migration certificate will be issued to learners unless they complete their course.

NIOS certificates are valid , recognized and at par with other National and State education of school education.

Although you are from NIOS board you are eligible to attend for CAP rounds.
