Tips for preparing UPPSC JE Exam :

Know the syllabus and topics completely.
Select the books wisely : I advice you not to go through lots of books. Good books will save your time and clarifies your basic concepts.
Always prefer your own notes. Make notes of all important topics and revise them time to time.
Make a specific strategy for General Studies, read magazines like Pratiyogita Darpan and Newpapers like The Hindu daily.
Go through your notes rigorously.
