Allopathic Medical Officer - Public Service Commission, Uttar Pradesh (UP)
Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission came into existence in the year 1937 and right from its inception, the commission has been making immense efforts for recruitment of right candidates for various government positions in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The commission is controlled by the UPPSC Regulations Act 1976.
Recruitment by UPPSC:
Uttar Pradesh Public Services Commission has called for applications from appropriate candidates for the position of Allopathic Medical Officer Group B vacancy for Provincial Medical and Health Department for Special Recruitment for Reserved category for department number S-8/5. For further details regarding the vacancy, read on the content given below:
Name of the Position: Allopathic Medical Officer
Number of positions:
(i) Total number of vacancies is 49 and reservation of 21 posts is applicable for SC candidates, 01 post for ST candidates and 27 posts for OBC candidates.
(ii) Total number of vacancies is 2225 and reservation of 467 posts is applicable for SC candidates, 45 post for ST candidates, 601 posts for OBC candidates and 1112 for general category candidates.
Pay Scale: Candidates appointed for the position of Allopathic Medical Officer will be coming under the pay band of Rs.15600-39100 plus Grade Pay of Rs.5400.
Eligibility Conditions:
Education: For direct recruitment for the position of Allopathic Medical Officer, candidates must have completed their MBBS from a university recognized by Medical Council of India. Candidates must also have completed their compulsory internship after completion of MBBS course.
Preferential qualification: In the direct recruitment process, preference will be given to candidates with PG Degree or diploma in health or medical sciences from an institution recognized by the UP medical council of Indian Medical Council and candidates served in the territorial army for not less than two years or candidates with B certificate in NCC.
Age requirement: Candidates must be between the age group of 21 and 35 years of age. Upper age limit is relaxable for reserved category candidates as per rules.
Application fee:
The prescribed application fee of Rs.80 for general and OBC category candidates and Rs.40 for SC/ST candidates, should be paid through the E-challan provided in the notification page at http://uppsc.up.nic.in/View_Enclosure.aspx?ID=505&flag=E&FID=77 through any branch of SBI of PNB before the 7th of October 2011.
