sir i am amit singh ,i am b.t.e.k first year year (computer science) student .i passed metric with 73% mark in pcm and intermediate with 59%mark in pcm but i got 33 marks in math in intermediate pls sir can i apply for indian navy .pls sir reply me for which core am i eligible.

It is not a problem that getting 33 marks in Maths, you are eligible if you completed your course successfully. They will just observe your total percantage.

Hello Amit, dont worry this wont be a problem if you want to join the Navy , all you have to do is sit for the CDS exam and clear it , then clear your ssb interview and fulfill your wish.

you can join Indian Navy after 12th with science background.

through NDA exam you can join in the Indian Navy after 12th.

60% marks in 12th is required to join in the Indian Navy.

age limit is 16.5-19 years.

so you are eligible for NDA exam.

If your interested to apply for Navy academy then you apply for NDA Examination which is conducted by UPSC for every twice in a year .

For NDA Examination percentage of marks in not necessary . If your qualified in 12th board examination in science stream then your eligible to apply for NDA Examination in Navy academy .

Eligibility criteria for NDA ( Navy academy )

You should be unmarried male candidate . Female or married candidates are not eligible for NDA Examination . You should be complete 12th board examination in science stream with physics / Mathematics as a main subject in 12th board examination . Your age should be 16 .5 years to 19 years . If your above the age of 19 years then your not eligible to apply for the examination . You should be physically as well as medically fit for the examination .

Physical Standards for Navy academy :-



So , your eligible to apply for NDA Examination after completing your 12th standard . The important notification for NDA Examination are published in employment news papers and official website of USPC . You may buy the examination application form from the post office in any branch .

After 12th or after graduation you can join Indian Navy.As you are a diploma graduate then you are also very much eligible for Indian Navy.See you have to take information from different newspapers and websites when the vacancies of Navy will come and according to this you can apply.
You can also apply for NDA. There generally two examination are held for NDA, one is NDA-1 and another is NDA-2.You can also attempt both this two exam.

I am happy to inform you that you can apply for Indian Navy after passing 12th with P.C.M..

For this you have to qualify the N.D.A exam..
N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year..

> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

Date of Notification:-05.05.2012
Last date of receipt of form:- 04.06.2012(MONDAY)
