If i do history (hons), what are the further career option i will get? Please help me.

After completion of bachelor's degree in History, you can go for higher studies as well as jobs. You can get specialization in:

1. Agrarian Economy of Ancient, Medieval and Modern India.

2. Ancient and Medieval Societies.

3. American Imperialism in 19th and 20th century.

You can appear for the UPSC Civil Services exams, PSC exams, SSC exams. Other than these, you can apply for banking jobs like PO. If you are interesting in teaching profession, you can go for B.Ed and M.Ed.

There are so many career opportunities for you after doing graduation in history. You can go for the higher study courses like Master's degree in history then apply for the NET exam for lectureship in government colleges.

Other than this, you can apply for the Civil Services exam, IB ACIO exams, SSC CGL exams, banking entrance exams like IBPS Clerk and PO etc.
