The age limit for studying the diploma course in Architectural Assistantship will vary from one state to another. In Tamilnadu there is no age limit to study any Diploma course including Diploma in Architectural Assistantship. You can find the details in the pdf link given;

Yes, definitely there is an age criteria in order to do Diploma in Architectural Assistantship.
Below I have discussed the whole eligibility criteria of the above mentioned course, have a look over it.

Eligibility criteria:-

Candidates must have completed either their class 10th or class 12th from a recognized Board.
In case of class 12th qualification, candidates must belong to Science stream.
Candidates must have scored a minimum of 55% of marks in class 10th or in class 12th.
Candidates age must be in between 15 to 21 years.
