Am I eligible to sit in NET if didn't have studied Nutrition as a Honours subject in B.Sc Food and Nutrition? Which subject should choose for NET?

Hello sir, I have completed PG in Nutrition with Distance mode from a UGC recognized university. I did not have studied Nutrition as a Honours subject in B.Sc Food and Nutrition. Am I eligible for NET exam? Which subject should choose for NET?

If you have scored more than 55% marks in your post graduation then you are eligible for NET exam. For applying in this exam candidates must have completed their post graduation with minimum of 55% marks.
After completion of your Post graduation in nutrition you can do PhD in food and nutrition. Thanks

You have completed PG in Nutrition from a recognized University so you are eligible for UGc NET exam in Nutrition.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test. This exam is conducted by UGC.

The educational qualification required for NET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for NET exam.

There is no age criteria for NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years.

Yes, you are very much eligible to sit for NET examination after having completed your PG in nutrition from a recognized university as the minimum eligibility requirement in order to opt for the examination is that the candidate should have a PG degree with a minimum of 55% in aggregate from a recognized university.
