My daughter date of birth is 27/11/2003 and she is in ninth class. She will be appearing in board exams in 2018. Is she eligible with this age?

The minimum age required for the candidate to be eligible to appear in 10th standard board examinations is 15 years. In case, if the candidate is deficient of age required to appear in 10th standard board examinations by 6 months then, they need to submit medical certificate from recognised doctor. Since, your daughter was born on 27/11/2003, she will be more than 14 years of age while pursuing 10th standard, so, she is eligible to appear in 10th standard board examinations.

As per the eligibility criteria a candidate must have minimum age of 14 in order to appear in the class 10th board exam and maximum should not exceed 16 years as per rules of education. If you are underage then you are not eligible to appear in 10th board examination in whatever board you are studying.

But I would let you know the age criteria for CBSE Class 10th board examination, which is 14 years by the 1st October of that year in which you are pursuing your Class 10th academics.

So being born on 27/11/2003 your daughter is not eligible for appearing in Class 10th board examination 2018 if she studies with CBSE board.

Yes, you will be eligible for 10th Board exams as you will be 15 years old by then.

No, your son will not face any problem regarding age criteria as your son is in UKG right now and he is 4 years old so in Class 10th he will be 15 years old which is eligible for giving Board exams.

As your daughter's birth date is on 11th June 2006, so she will be giving Board Exams in 2021 and at that time she will be around 15 years old which means that she will be eligible for this as the minimum age for 10th standard is 14 - 16 years old.

According to the CBSE Board or ICSE Board for securing admission in Class 1st The minimum age requirement is 5 years old - 7 years old.

As per the CBSE norms, the minimum age required for appearing in CBSE Class 10th board examination ( All India Secondary School Examination, AISSE ) is 14 years by the 1st October of that year in which students is pursuing his/her Class 10th.
