For Combined Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2003, the minimum and maximum age limits were fixed at 22 and 35 years respectively by fixing cutoff date as 1.8.2002 – One of the grounds urged was no appointment made in the previous 2 years – High Court dismissed the write petition.

But their is some relaxation for OBC and SC/ST candidate.

bihar public service commission age limit is given below-

Age Limit: 21-37 years as on 01/08/2011. Relaxation in age as per rules for SC/ST/OBC candiadate.

Educational qualification: Applicants must have any of the following degree.
· Degree in Natural Science
· Mathematics
· Statistics
· Geology
· Mechanical Engineering
· Civil Engineering
· Chemical Engineering
· Agriculture or Economics

Age: Applicants age must be of between 19-24 years. Relaxation will be applied in upper age for the reserved category according to the government norms.
