Does son fall under Non-creamy layer criteria if parent's gross annual income crosses 15 lakhs per annum?
Mother is a class 3 employee with annual income 7.76 lakhs and father is a private employee with annual income 9.6 lakhs. Does son can get the benefits of OBC with non-creamy layer certificate for admission in IIT colleges?

Since the gross annual income is above Rs 8 lakh your ward is not eligible to get benefit of reservation.
Candidates with parent income above Rs 8 lakh are not eligible to get the benefit of reservation as they will come under Creamy layer. |

Yes candidates with parent income above Rs 8 lakhs each year fall under the creamy layer and not eligible to get benefit for reservation.
So, you will considered under unreserved category. |
