Hello everyone, I want to become a Sub-Divisional Police Officer in Assam. I would like to know the steps through which I can become such officer. I am a student of Intermediate. Waiting for your response. Thank you!

The applicant must hold bachelor's degree from accredited university in relevant field.
Master degree holders can also become SDO.

Must be minimum of 21 years of age or older
Aspirants in some cateogaries receive cast relaxation benefit.
Must be an Indian citizen

For recruitment of SDOs , the state PSC exam is conducted .It's the responsibility of state PSC to conduct and select candidates , exams are conducted annually .
Applicant must apply for and pass state PSC exam .
There are 3 phases
Written exam
Mains exam
Interview
All of the exams must be passed and you must pass each one to advance to the next round .
Coaching institution are available across the country for candidates to prepare for the exam or you can purchase books in the market .
