I completed M.Sc. in Organic chemistry (2009 batch) from Maharashtra, India.
Currently i am working as Research Associate in Lupin Ltd Pune Maharashtra.
I am looking for Ph.D in European country with scholarship. What is the procedure for Admission for ph.d as well as for scholarship?

There are very good opportunities for availing admissions into some European countries such as Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Belgium and Austria ..

These countries does provides scholarships as well as stipends to their phd students .

they also does provides free educations to the students by spending 5-7 lacs on their studies so, these countries will be best to pursue phd. in chemistry ...

There are immense no. of scholarships which are available to the students , one such is leverhulm trust scholarship which is given to the students who does well in it's phd programs and the application form for it will be available after 15th september ..

for taking admission in phd. programs , you need to download the application form from the college in which you are interested and than has to send it along with the documents required .

and for scholarships also , you need to follow the same process ...

Dear friend,
In European countries there is free education it is true. But in these countries only 1. Sweden
2. Norway and
3. Germany.
But the bad news is they are not going to offer free education from next year onwards and the next intake last date for application forms is in August 2nd week of 2010. If you apply for this intake you can get free education. You can get number of scholarships if you perform well in your studies there.

My suggestion is once see this web site. http://www.mpg.de/english/portal/index.html It is the one of the famous institute called Max Planck institute. They will conduct some written test, if you crack that then future will be yours, there are lot many branches in that institute for you to perform your Ph.d work.

Better consult any reputed consultancy agency so that they can guide you more perfectly and exactly in choosing better institute for you. All the best for your future.

At present I am pursuing M.Tech in biotechnology in The GITAM univrsity, Vishakapatnam, Andhra Pradesh- India , to be competed by may 2011 and then I would like to do PHD in biotechnology in abroad. Please give proper guidance in respect of country where i have to pursue and get full scholarship and a brief details about reputed universities in abroad for PHD.

The best way to grab a a good college for masters and PhD with scholarships is GRE ie. Graduate record examination.
The GRE is a 1600 marks examination. There are two subjects only MATHS and ENGLISH 800 marks each. The best reference book is BARRON.
Once you take the test you can get the score right away. 1400+ is assumed to be a good GRE score and if you are average in your academics you can apply to various foreign universities.

i have completed B.Tech Biotechnology .since funds for doing an MS abroad are an issue..i was thinking of taking up a job in a European country and then studying further at the same place.Is that possible?if yes..then which are the companies/institutes that are likely to hire me?
