i have completed my bcom according to the announcement on icai that a bcom graduate can apply directly to ipcc is it so or we have to first completed cpt is it compulsary pls tell me as soon as possible or mail me on [email protected].

yes B.com graduate can take admissions directly in CA and skip the CPT exam.The Central Council has approved the new announcement of allowing a Graduate student (B.com, B.Sc., BBA,etc) to directly join the IPCC course without writing CA-CPT Exam. The council announced that the eligibility criteria for the graduates to write IPCC directly is as under:

1. In case of a Commerce Graduate – 55%

2. In case of a Non-Commerce Graduate – 60%

cpt is compulsory after passing graduation?

Yes you can take direct admission to CA through CA-CPT exam .There is no need to give the CPT exam now , so you can skip it .

HI,,,,, you can not go for c.a directly, you have to pass out CPT first, which is mandatory to pass out to appear for IPPCC exam,,,,, CPT IS AN ENTRANCE EXAM for c.a aspirants,,,,,,,so one should write the CPT to go for c.a course,,,,,

IN CPT you will have opjective type question, you just have to secure 100 marks out of 200 to get qualified for IPPCC,

IPPCC is the inter stage of c.a course,

and one should pass the IPPCC to get qualify for final stage,,,,,,,

yes you can enrol yourself for IPCC.

I have got gpa 5.00 not only h.s.c but also s.s.c from science group

As per the ICAI, candidates who have completed graduation are eligible for direct admission in Integrated Professional Competancy Course. Traditionally to apply for Chartered Accountancy course, one has to first register for CPT exam which is known as Common Proficiency Test.


Upon clearing the Common Proficiency Test candidates are allowed to take admisison for the Integrated Professional Competancy course. But the changes made by the ICAI allows graduates to directly apply for the Integrated Professional Competancy Course.


Under the new rules, a commerce graduate with 55 percent marks and non-commerce graduate with 60 percent marks can take direct admission for the Integrated Professional Competancy Course. Such candidates are not required to give Common Proficiency Test.


If you have scored 55 percent marks in B.Com then you can take direct admission for the Chartered Accountancy Course.

no i dont think so the exam is not compulsory you can also take admission in ca after doing bsc as well.
