sorry to say..
but you are not eligible for IIT JEE.
To be eligible for IIT JEE you should have passed 12th with atleast 60% marks in aggregate.
and the second reason is that you have passed 12th in 2008 so you are not eligible for IIT JEE anymore.

All applicant belonging to GE, OBC and DS categories should have a minimum percentage of marks of at least 60% in aggregate. For the SC, ST and PD categories the minimum percentage requirement is at least 55% in aggregate. For the IIT JEE Entrance the percentage awarded by the board will be considered as final mark and no relaxation will be provided other than category.

Hello Friend,
The percentage requirement for IIT JEE Entrance Exams is 60% marks in aggregate for General &OBC candidates and 55% for SC/ST candidates.
Other than this for IIT JEE 2011 the date of birth of candidates belonging to GE, OBC categories should be on or after October 1, 1986. Whereas the date of birth of those belonging to SC, ST categories should be on or after October 1, 1981.
The candidates should have passed 10+2 or any other qualifying examination (as mentioned by IIT) for the first time, after October 1, 2009 or in the year 2010 or will be appearing in 2011.

As in your situation i am sorry to say that you will not be eligible.

Soory Friend you are not eligible for IITJEE as you scored less than 60% marks in Class 12 exam. And also those who passed Class 12th exam in 2010 or appearing for exam of Class 12th in 2011 are eligible for IIT JEE.
For details visit official websites of IITs.
Good Luck.

Sorry, you are not eligible for IIT JEE because the minimum eligibility criteria for IIT JEE is 60% in the average of PCM but your average is only 51% in PCM so you are not eligible and any candidate can attempt only two times in IIT JEE once in the appearing in 12th and other once is after 12th.
For more information please see the official website of IIT.

No, For IIT-JEE 10th class percentage is not consider..

your qualifying exam for IIT-JEE will be
  • If you are 12th class passout or appearing
  • else if you are diploma passout or appearing...

Either of these qualification will be consider...

And one must score a minimum of 60% in your qualifying exam for GENERAL AND OBC..
and 55% for SC/ST,PD...

I am sorry to inform you but you are not eligible for appearing in IIT JEE since you do not satisfy their eligibility requirements. The pecrcentage of marks secured by you in PCM in 12th is less than the prescribed percentage.

As per the IIT JEE notification candidates belonging to GE, OBC and DS categories must secure at least 60% marks in aggregate in their qualifying exam. Whereas, those belonging to SC, ST and PD categories must secure at least 55% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam in order to be eligible for appearing in IIT JEE.

Elligibility for IIt-JEE exam:

The age limit for appearing in IIT-JEE is 25 years. For candidates belonging to SC, ST and PD categories, the relaxed age limit is 30 years.

The candidate must have passed their 10+2 examinations from a recognized board with 60%.

The candidate can appear in the Joint Entrance Exam two times only, that also should be in consecutive years.

The candidate must be physically fit for the course for which they have applied.

The candidates who will be giving their final examinations of 10+2 in 2011 are also eligible to apply.

As you have percentage below 60% you are not eligible for the IIT-JEE exam.

There are 2 criterias that you need to fulfill to appear in the IIT-JEE exam.

1.Minimum percentage required is 60% aggregate with 60% in each of PCM.

2.Only 2 attempts per candidate is allowed. So, only those candidates who have 10+2 in 2010 or are appearing for the exam in 2011 are eligible.

As you passed your exam way before and and also do not have the required percentage, so you do not stand eligible for the exam.
