TITLE: QUERY ON ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

I am completing 17 years. I am underage for only 10 days,can I still apply for AFMC 2012.

if you are short then you can't apply for this because AFMC rules and regulations are very strict they gonna reject your application form prior.

but for your kind info these are the eligibility criteria for AFMC 2012.

AFMC Exam 2012 Age Limit :
Must have attained the age of 17 years on 31 December 2012 but must NOT have attained the age of 22 years on the date i.e. not born earlier than 01 January 1991 and not later than 31 December 1995.

even at the time of your 12 examination or equivalent exam, you can write the exam if you full fill the age limits.

HELLO,if you wish to sit in AFMC 2012 then you are eligible for the exam.as per the guidelines of AFMC candidate should complete his/her 18 at the time of examination.so upto 2012,you will be eligible for the exam.

AFMC is one of the most reputed colleges in India. There are lots of career oriented courses offered by this organization. The recruitment process to these courses is very strict and there are no exemption as for the requirements is concerned. If you find yourself underage then there is no need to apply. Even if you are underage for one single day also your application will be rejected.

yes ,HEIGHT AND VISION standards are considered in AFMC exam!!


Girts Standard:

minimum height of 144 cms
and minimum weight of 36 Kgs is essential.

Boys Standards:

height below 157.5 cms (152.5 cms for Gorkhas, Nepalese, Assamese and Garhwali)

and weight below 47 Kgs will not be accepted irrespective of age and other factors.

Hi,

There is no restrictions on height and specs primarily, but if you have height or eye number too much out of admissible limits then it may be of concern as it is institute for making defence doctors and they will not let physical deficiency into their institute.

Hi,

You can not sit for the exam if you are only 12th pass or appearing this year as the age criteria is that one should not born earlier than 01 January 1990 and not later than 31 December 1994. A candidate who has passed B.Sc. examination or will be appearing in final B.Sc. examination and seeks admission must not have attained the age of 24 years on 31 December 2011 i.e.
must have been born not earlier than 01 January 1988.
So you are only eligible if you are doing BSc.

Yes you are eligible as the age should be in between 01 January 1990 and 31 December 1994.

Hi,

You can not apply and if you apply then your candidature will be rejected either at examination or counseling time.

You should be born not born earlier that 01 January 1991 and not later than 31 December 1995 for AFMC 2011.

as i know if you want to apply the AFMC exam then your age is at least 17 years and not attend the 22 years till 31 December.

For AFMC 2011..

you are not eligible with above date of birth if you are 12th pass but

Age for AFMC depends on two thing that is either you are b.sc or 12th..


IF you are 12th class student the age limit is

17 to 22 years that is you should born not born earlier that 01 January 1990 and not later than 31 December

1994.......

if you are b.sc graduate your age limit is

you should be below 24 age that mean should not born before 1 January 1988

That mean you are eligible in either of cases...

Note this is for only 2011 AFMC exam!!

Its quite impossible for you to apply for the AFMC for this year if you are underage. So it would be better if you do preparation for AFMC this year and apply in the next year.

As you got opportunity to prepare for AFMC so work hard for this exam and try your luck in the next year.

For your convenience I am giving you the details about the eligibility required for AFMC which will be helful for you when you applied for the AFMC exam.

Educational Qualification :
Applicants must have passed the XII standard/pre-professional/premedical examination or equivalent examination of statutory Indian University/Board or any other recognized Board/University as a regular student in all the subjects opted for in FIRST ATTEMPT with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology securing not less than 60% of aggregate marks in the three science subjects taken together, not less than 50% marks in each of the science subjects and not less than 50% marks in English.

Age Limit : Must have attained the age of 17 years but must NOT have attained the age of 22 years on the date.

Hello Friend,

The required age to write AFMC MBBS exam is 17 years and maximum 22 years.

To appear in AFMC 2011 MBBS exam you must complete 17 years before 31.12.2011 and must not attend the age of 22 years on that date.

Since your date of birth is 04.08.1995 you will not complete 17 years before 31.12.2011, you cannot write the AFMC MBBS 2011 exam.

If you completed 10+2 with minimum 60% and with subjects physics, chemistry, biology and English.
Then only you are eligible for AFMC exam.

You can fill application form on-line only as this year forms are not available in post offices.
