Application for AFMC Entrance exam can be submitted through the official web portal of AFMC. For this, one can follow any of the two methods as mentioned in the article. First method is applicable for candidates who can upload photograph and signature while submitting the application through online method where as second method is meant for those who cannot do so.

Method 1

Registration and Login - In this method, the first step in the application process is to create a login name and password. On entering the website of AFMC, new applicants can click the concerned link for registration. Then the applicant will be redirected to a new page where they have to enter details of qualifying exam passed, contact details, etc. On submitting the filled registration form, a password will be generated by the system. Applicants can use email id and this password for the next time they login.

Filling of Application through Online Method - Before applying for the exam, candidate should keep certain documents ready. They must keep a recent digital photograph in jpeg format. This photograph must include the name of the applicant and date on which it was taken. Secondly, the applicant must keep a scanned copy of their signature ready. This must be also in jpeg format.

Once the candidate have got these documents ready, they can start filling the application form. Details about father’s name, mother’s name, postal address for communication, etc have to be filled up correctly. One can select three choices for exam centers according to their convenience. This can be selected from the dropdown list given in the application form. After filling all the necessary details, one must ensure that all the details entered are devoid of any mistakes. On submitting the same, a pdf copy of the completed form will be generated. Besides this, candidate can also download the fee challan for making payment of application fee.

Fee Payment- Fee payment can be made in any of the branches of State Bank of India (after registering through online method). Fee payment can only be made one day after the registration process. Application fee for AFMC entrance exam is Rs. 280/-. On payment of this amount, a journal number will be generated by the bank and it will be notified in the fee challan. This fee challan must be kept safe, as it stands as the proof for fee payment.

Status Check - Status check can be made to verify whether the application is accepted or rejected. This can be made anytime by logging into the account of the applicant.

Method 2

This method is applicable only for candidates who find it difficult to upload photograph and signature. In this case, applicant must submit the application through offline method. The candidate have to take a print out of the system generated pdf copy. In this copy, paste photograph of appropriate size. Applicant must put their signature in the column meant for the same. They can send the application form to the concerned address mentioned in the AFMC portal.
