It is impossible to become ips after diploma.first you should graduate in any field.after that you will have to face exam conducted by upsc.

No, joining IPS is impossible after diploma. Graduation is the necessary qualification for civil services. Upper age limit is 30 years. You can try for IPS after completing degree in any subject. If possible go for engineering in the same stream and prepare for the exam along with it.

Now iam diploma holder in EEE branch then i will complete my B.tech then i will eligible for IPS ?
