FDA : First Division Assistant.

FDA Posts will be filled by KPSC(Karnataka Public Service Commission).

An entrance exam will be held every year by KPSC. This entrance exam is held for Cadre of Assistants and first division assistants.

Syllabus for FDA entrance exam is.

This exam is of two papers.

1. General Knowledge
2. General English (or) General Kannada

Paper -1
General Knowledge paper will contain minimum standards relating to general knowledge topics like

• Constitution of India
• Indian History and Culture
• Economic Geography of India
• Current Events
• Every Day Science

Paper II

This paper tests the knowledge about

• English/Kannada grammar
• Vocabulary
• Spelling
• Synonyms
• Antonyms
• Comprehension on English/Kannada Language

You can choose paper II on general english/Kannnada based on your interest.

Eligibility for FDA(First Division Assistant) conducted by KPSC(Karnataka Public Service Commission) are :-

Educational qualification :-

• You must be Graduation Pass out in any stream from recognized university.

Age :-

• Your minimum age - 21 years.
• Your Upper age Limit - 28 years.

Syllabus :- Questions will be from -

• General Knowledge.
• General English or General Kannada.

General Knowledge will include topics from :-

• Constitution of India.
• Indian History and Culture.
• General Economics.
• Geography of India.
• Current Events from every day life.

General English/Kannada will include questions from degree level.


Exam Pattern :-

• Total Marks of each paper will be 150.
• Total duration of each paper will be 2 hours.
• Questions will be in English/Kannada.

i m now in b.sci (forestry) 3rd year.after 4th year i want to become an FDA afficer.so i m preparing for that.so my question is,
long answer questions will be there or not?

I want to see model or previous question papers of fda exam, especially paper 1, that is compulsory Kannada.
