What syllabus to prepare for SAIL Exam?
I want the syllabus for sail exam.which portion and topice i have prepaired so that i have to confident for these exam?

The Question Paper has two sections:-
Section I- relates to the Technical / Administration discipline opted by you and has 100 questions to be attempted in 1 hour and 15 minutes. Section II- with 100 questions covers - i) General Awareness ii) Verbal Ability iii) Quantitative Aptitude iv) Test of Reasoning to be attempted in 1 hour and 15 minutes. For section II ...i suggest you to follow the book GENERAL APTITUDE by RS Agarwal... it's best book that covers all the topics in SECTION II... ALL THE BEST |

The sylabus for most of the PSUs is more or less similar to the syllabus of GATE for all the technical papers.
You can consult the syllabus of GATE(excluding the Mathematics paper) to get the syllabus for SAIL. Very few PSUs publish their syllabus and SAIL is also one among them. And for the Non technical portions,there is no fixed syllabus as you know very well.But there is one more important aspect in SAIL. You need to clear the cutoff for all the individual 5 sections of the paper-Technical,English,Reasoning,Current affairs and Aptitude. |

Syllabus of SAIL: The written test would comprise of five sections which are: 1) Domain Knowledge Test- The test is basically made to judge the technical and academic knowledge of the candidate. Topics like Microprocessor, digital electronics; Electro Magnetic Theory, Engineering Mathematics, analog electronics, communication subjects, control systems etc. are covered under this. 2) Aptitude test Further divided into four parts:
The total time duration that will be given for the accomplishment of the exam will 150 minutes, 75 minutes for Domain Knowledge test and 75 minutes for aptitude test. Further, the marking scheme for each section is as follows: Domain Knowledge test- 100 marks Aptitude Test- 100 marks
