As per the guidelines of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), candidates belonging to General category must have scored atleast 50% marks in the bachelors degree examination to be considered eligible for OPENMAT, the entrance test conducted by the University for assessing candidates eligibility to pursue Master of Business Administration.

Since you have scored less than 50% marks, you will not be considered eligible for appearing in the OPENMAT. However, if you possess any of the following qualification, you will be considered eligible irrespective of marks obtained in the qualifying examination:

• Three years of supervisory/ managerial/professional experience.
• Professional Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Medicine/ Architecture/ Law/ Pharmacy
• Professional Qualifications in Accountancy/ Cost and Works Accountancy/ Company Secretaryship
• Masters Degree in any subject
