Hello, I have overall ielts band of 5.5 and I have not taken GMAT. Do I get any college or university who offers MBA for this score

Admission procedure for MBA in Canada and Australia?

Bachelor degree: Candidates must have completed a bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognised university.
IELTS: Students need to secure a good IELTS score for getting the Australian visa. Students from non-native English speaking countries need to showcase their English language proficiency to secure admission in a university.

Admission requirements for MBA in Canada:-

Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or education institution.

Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) score.

Previous relevant work experience.

English language proficiency test, like IELTS or TOEFL.

Statement of Purpose.

2 Recommendation Letters.

Admission interview.


In order to study MBA in Australia, an international applicant needs to have completed 3 or 4-year long bachelor's degree with a minimum score of 60%. He/she also needs to have a few years of managerial work experience. Besides these entry requirements, most of the management schools require GMAT scores.

Candidate must have full time bachelor's degree from a recognised university. International students with work experience is usually preferred.

A good GMAT score is an important criterion that international students need to fulfill.

To get admission to any reputed university , students need to appear for english proficiency test such as TOEFL or IELTS.

GMAT: Most of the Australian universities and colleges accept GMAT score for giving admission to pursue the MBA program. A good GMAT (The Graduate Management Admission Test) score is required to get into a top university to pursue MBA. However, average GMAT score for getting admission in an Australian university is 590.

2- Standard admission tests: GMAT test scores and English language proficiency test (TOEFL/IELTS) scores.

3- Bank statements and financial documents.

5- Letter of recommendations from your existing and previous supervisors. It can be your current and previous managers/supervisors and your graduate faculty who have judged your work closely.

6- Admission Essay or Statement of Purpose: It is one of the key elements of the application. This helps the admissions committee to evaluate the aspirant.
