Can I study MS in US after clearing GRE and IELTS with 6.5 bands score? Having 6 backlogs in my B.Tech will affect the admission process?


Friends,
I have completed my B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. I have 63% with 6 backlogs and my IELTS score is 6.5 Bands. I am planing to write GRE in this year. Can I do MS in US this year in US?

Yes, you can get admission to pursue MS in USA, even if you have 6 backlogs, because nowadays most of the universities are offering admissions to the students, even if they have 8-10 backlogs. But, you should a valid reason for your backlogs in your 'Statement of Purpose' to convince the admission authorities. And you have a good score in IELTS, so, don't worry you will definitely get admission in any university to pursue your MS.
