Can a person with a foreign masters degree with a graduation degree in law from India be eligible to appear for NET?

I am pursuing my LLM(Masters in Law) from University College London and am interested in appearing for the National Eligibility Test(NET) conducted
by UGC for appointment of lecturers. Can a person with a foreign masters degree with a graduation degree in law from India be eligible to appear for NET?

Candidates are advised to appear for NET exam for the subject they have completed their graduation , if a subject is not available choose similar subject.

Candidates having PG diploma/certificate awarded by Indian university/Foreign university should in their own interest ascertain the equivalence of their degree/certificate with masters degree of recognised Indian university from Association of Indian universities New Delhi.
They must have secured 55% marks in their graduation and Post graduation.
Thus you are eligible to appear for NET exam.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
