Sir,
I just want to do MS in Mechanical Engineering in Germany.
Should I write GRE or IELTS for opting universities in Germany?
Which one should I choose?

First try to know the admission requirements of the universities, at which you want to apply for admission. Then you will get an idea, whether you should appear for GRE or IELTS or both. And, I can tell you that most of the universities in Germany, offers admissions on the basis of IELTS score. So, it is mandatory to appear for IELTS exam and you can decide whether you should for GRE or not, by checking the admission requirements of universities, in which you are interested to join.

To study MS in Mechanical Engineering course in Germany, you need to appear in IELTS examination to prove your English Language Proficiency skills in Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing sections. But, some universities may demand GRE score, so, it is best to appear in both GRE and IELTS examinations or you first decide in which college/university you want to pursue MS course and check whether the college/university demands GRE examination score or not and then, you can decide whether to appear in GRE examination or not but, you must have to appear in IELTS examination to get admission in MS in Mechanical Engineering course in Germany.
