Hi everyone, I am interested to do PhD(Computer Science) course from University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus. I just want to know what are all the entrance exams available for getting admission in this course? Kindly tell me about the cutoff score for securing admission.

To Pursue an Ph.D. in Computer Science program at University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus, you will need to appear for Graduate Record Examination(GRE). Also, you will need to appear for an English language proficiency test IELTS.
Important links of entrance examination with Cutoff score are mentioned below:-
1. GRE must score 145 - 150 marks

Carlson School PhD program admits students once per year in fall.Since you know this Ph.D. in Computer Science is a research degree.

Entrance exams :-


->GRE score -Applicants submit scores must be submitted to the Graduate School of the University of Minnesota.

Qualifications for teaching assistantships.
->TOEFL with 23 in speaking and 23 in the writing .
->IELTS -6.5 + score in each component.

Important Dates :-

->November 15th -Admission cycle opens for fall.
->December 15th 11:59 PM CST -Ph.D. application deadline to be considered for Fellowships for fall.
->January 5th 11:59 PM CST -Application deadline for fall.

Note:Computer Science and Engineering department does not offer spring admissions.
