For admission to postgraduate courses in nanotechnology, a candidate must have passed the B.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Life Sciences or B. Tech in Material science/Mechanical/Biomedical/Chemical/Biotechnology/Electronics / Computer Science from recognized University.

How to join nanotech when you are in South Africa?

For an undergraduate course in nanotechnology , candidate should have passed class 12th with PCM with atleast 50% marks in aggregate in subjects concerned.
Then they have to take admission in b.tech / Bsc nanotechnology .
They have to appear in an entrance test conducted by university.
Some colleges also give admission on the basis of 1% of marks Obtained in qualifying exam.
Msc /M.tech in nanotechnology is also required.
Those who are interested in the field of education or research can go for PhD degree in related field.

In South Africa , the University of Johannesburg offers research option in the field of nanotechnology.
