It is nice to see that you are serious about your preparation for GRE and TOEFL exams. Both are tough exams and the competition level is quite high since applicants will be across the globe. Hence it is better if you take coaching from a good coaching center like TIME, Career Launcher, etc. since the pattern of these exams is different and appropriate study material is required. If you want to do self-study then you have to refer various books and have to find out the important portions yourself unlike coaching institutes where you will be given appropriate study materials. Apart from this, you can also give mock tests to know your position in comparison with other candidates. This will be of immense help and moreover, you can get guidance from the teachers in the coaching institutes. Since you want to do self study, so first of all, go through the syllabus and start from the scratch by studying all the topics mentioned in the syllabus. Be updated with newspapers and educational and business magazines. Solve previous years and sample papers of the exams.
