What should be done after B.A in History? Future scope of MBA after completing B.A in History?

My daughter is inTYBA . She is majoring in History. She is a bit confused as to what she should do after BA . She says that to add more value to her degree should she do an MA in International relations . What can she do with that? or should she do an MBA? What can she do with either of the two options . What has more value as far as job prospects are concerned . She is willing to do either of these two courses abroad but what should she do ?
What will have better prospect for the future How do we go about it? Which country could we consider ? She does not want to teach. Please help as we want to decide on her career and I would not want her to miss a year.

Thank you,

Mrs G

There are many options after completion of B.A degree in the field of History. The most ideal and viable option is going for MA degree in the field of History as your daughter has the fundamental base in the field of History. However, she should not be forced concerning the stream which should choose as it is only she, who will pursue the course. She should go for the course in which she is interested and comfortable with the subject areas in that field. History, international relations, MBA all have ample scope and there are ample good job opportunities provided one excels in the concerned field. Hence she should go for the one in which she is comfortable and preferably opt for the institute which has better ranking and provides good exposure rather than becoming country specific for higher studies.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
