Whether GATE syllabus is also covered if prepared for GRE?
Respected Sir,
I am in 5th semester of B.Tech(Mechanical Engineering). I will start preparation for GRE and will soon take coaching class. I want to know that I can also get prepared for GATE syllabus if I can do preparation for GRE? |

No, GATE syllabus is entirely different from GRE examination syllabus. There is no specific syllabus for GRE examination. Any type of questions from Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Analytical Writing sections will be asked in GRE examination whereas in GATE examination, the questions are asked from your B.Tech core group subjects. So, you need to prepare for GRE and GATE examinations separately as the GATE syllabus will not be covered in preparation of your GRE examination.
