Geetanjali Degree College is a self financed co-education institute that came into existence in the year 2005. The college is located in Visakhapatnam district of the Andhra Pradesh State. The college is affiliated to the Andhra University.

The college was established with an aim to provide basic higher education to the people living in the Yellamanchil area of the in Visakhapatnam district. The undergraduate courses available in the college are B. Com and B. Sc (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry). The duration of the courses is three years.

Eligibility criteria for getting admission:

The candidates, who have passed two year P. U examination of Andhra P U Board or its equivalent in any subject, are eligible to apply for the B. Com course. The candidates, who have passed two year P. U examination of Andhra P U Board or its equivalent in Science subjects, are eligible to apply for the B. Sc courses.

The college admits candidates for the B. Com and B. Sc courses based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination as per the norms of the Andhra University.
