Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Ahmadabad is a prestigious University of West India. It offers many courses Aeronautical Engineering being a primary one. The Elements of Mechanical Engineering is an important subject for students pursuing Engineering in this branch under this University.

Division of Paper:

The written exam taken by the university is of 70 marks. These 70 marks have been divided equally among 5 questions; hence we have each question holding 14 marks. These questions generally have three sub parts, such that the total marks of these sub parts be equal to 14.

The Paper Pattern and Marking Scheme:

To score well in this subject a student has to answer five questions in all. Generally the questions are so given that there is no option in the first question while for every other question we have an option, that is, for the remaining four questions the student gets a choice between two questions out of which he has to answer one. This means that in total there are nine questions on the question paper from which the student has to answer just five.
