How to Prepare for Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Exam?

The Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, PIMS is well known for its courses offered in the Health Care and Research Field. The institute was established in the year 2003 and is approved by Ministry of HRD, Government of India. They offer courses in Medicine, dental, physiotherapy, nursing and biotechnology. They offer courses through 6 various institute in the country. In every year PIMS conduct entrance test for the bachelor program aspirants of the same.

The candidates should have 50% marks in the qualifying board exam in the plus two science stream. They must study PCB in the higher secondary level. The students looking for the final exam can also take part in the entrance exam. Normally the exam will be conducted in the month of May.

Structure of PIMS

The exam contains 200 objective type questions. The students get four to five choices and they need to select the right one. The duration of the exam is 180 minutes. The students can attempt any questions since there is no negative mark. The questions cover the areas of PCB.

  • Structure of Atom

The Biology section carries maximum weight age. It has got 100 questions and includes the topics on
