Indian Institute of Technology (Gandhinagar) came into existence in the year 2008 under Government of India. The institute has its temporary campus located at Chankheda, Gujarat. The institute is a part of the Indian Institutes of Technology system. The institute was actually established as an Education and Research Institution. Professor Sudhi K. Jain is the current Director of the institute. Besides B,Tech and Ph.D courses, the institute is als planning to introduce M.Tech course as well for the students. The institute is determined to maintain the high quality standards set for IITs.

Applications in the prescribed format are invited from the eligible as well as qualified candidates for the following positions of Junior Superintendent, Junior Accounts Officer, Junior Laboratory Assistant and Junior Laboratory Attendant in Indian Institute of Technology (Gandhinagar):

1. Recruitment of Junior Superintendent:
No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 32 years.
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree with atleast one years of experience in the relevant field. Candidates possessing Bachelor’s degree with three years of relevant experience are also eligible for the post.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 25501 per month.

2. Recruitment of Junior Accounts Officer:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 32 years.
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Commerce or equivalent with atleast one years of experience in the relevant field. Candidates possessing Bachelor’s degree in commerce with three years of relevant experience are also eligible for the post.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 25501 per month.

3. Recruitment of Junior Laboratory Assistant:
No. of posts: Only 5 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 27 years.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical/ Computer Science with atleast. Candidates possessing Three years Diploma in any of the metioned discplines are also eligible for the post.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 15373 per month.

4. Recruitment of Junior Laboratory Attendant (Semi-Skilled):
No. of posts: Only 5 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 27 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be atleast 10th standard passed. Candidates must also possess one years trade training with ITI certificate or equivalent. Candidates should also possess experience of 2 years in relevant discipline.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 12876 per month.

Application Fee:

Rs. 100 is the amount of application fee that is need to be paid by the candidates belonging to General and OBC categories. No application fee is need to be paid by SC/ST/PH categories candidates. The demand draft of requisite application fee should be drawn on a nationalised bank, made in favour of IIT Gandhinagar Account payable at Ahmedabad.
