Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration & Research was established in the year 1948 as an Exploration and Research unit. The directorate is considered as one of the oldest unit of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration & Research was initially started with the name of Rare Minerals Survey Unit but later its name was changed to Raw Materials Division. It got its latest name in the year 1998 after it got the status of being a premier geological exploration and research organization.

Job Profile:

Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration & Research is inviting applications from eligible candidates for applying on the following vacant positions of Technical Officer, Scientific Assistant, Technician, Stenographer and Upper Division Clerk.

1. Recruitment of Technical Officer:
No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set is 37 years.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in concerned discipline from a recognized university with atleast 60% marks in aggregate.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 7600/5400.

2. Recruitment of Scientific Assistant:
No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set is 30 years.
Educational Qualification: Diploma in concerned discipline from a recognized university with atleast 60% marks in aggregate.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

3. Recruitment of Technician:
No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set is 25 years.
Educational Qualification: HSC or SSC passed with atleast 60% marks in aggregate and Science and Maths as one of the subjects.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2000.

4. Recruitment of Stegnographer:
No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set is 27 years.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation with atleast 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates must possess a shorthand speed of 100 words per minute in English.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

5. Recruitment of Upper Division Clerk:
No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set is 27 years.
Educational Qualification: Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university with atleast 50% marks in aggregate. Knowledge of Computer Data Processing is must.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

6. Recruitment of Driver (Ordinary Grade):
No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set is 27 years.
Educational Qualification: 10th Standard passed with a valid driving license to drive Heavy Vehicles.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1900.

Application Fee:

General and OBC categories candidates are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 100 only. SC/ST and other reserved categories candidates are exempted from paying this application fee. The application fee must be paid through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Pay & Accounts Officer, AMD, Hyderabad payable at Secunderabad.
