The project called District Poverty Initiative Project was introduced by the Rajasthan Rural Livelihood Project in some of the poor district of the state of Rajasthan with a view to improve the economic condition and productive condition of the state. This is one among the various project introduced for the RRLP for the development of the state.

Recruitment for Rajasthan Rural Livelihood Project:

Applications are invited for the positions of Manager for the Livelihood & Environment and Microfinance departments for the World Bank Assisted Project District Project Initiatives Project (DPIP-II) under the control of Rajasthan Gramin Ajivika Vikash Parishad for selection of candidates for the District Project Management Unit

Name of the Vacancies: Manager Livelihood & Environment and Microfinance

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 34, divided among the two positions as follows:

• Manager (Livelihood & Environment) - 17

• Manager (Microfinance) - 17

Eligibility requirements:

Educational qualification and experience:

Manager (Livelihood & Environment): For this position, candidates must have completed their PG degree with not less than 50% of marks in MSW/MBA/RD and they should possess at least three years of post qualification experience in appropriate field (i.e.) Livelihood investment, etc… Desirable qualification is knowledge in natural resource management/environment conservation and candidates must be presently drawing a grade pay of Rs.4200, 4800 and 5400.

Manager (Microfinance): For this position, candidates must have completed their PG degree with not less than 50% of marks in Economics/MSW/MBA or RD and they should possess at least three years of post qualification experience in appropriate field (i.e.) income generation, microfinance, etc… with a current grade pay of Rs.4200, 4800 or Rs.5400.

Age: The upper age limit to apply for the position both positions is 50 years as on the 01st of January 2012.

Name of services, members of which are eligible with name of specific group/wing, if any:

• All Officers of Government of Rajasthan and Public Sector companies, corporations, Nigam, Board, Co-operative Sangh, etc… of Government of Rajasthan.

• All Offices of Government of India and Public Sector Units, Corporation, Nigam, Board, etc… of Government of India.

Mode of selection:

Selection of candidates for the position both the positions would be on the basis of interview by the constituted selection committee. However, the powers to accept or reject a selection are reserved with the state Mission Director.
