Structure of North Maharashtra University Phd Biochemistry Entrance Exam

The exam comprises of two sections. The first section includes research aptitude type questions and the second paper is related to the subject. The test consists of objective as well as descriptive type questions. The first section will be purely objective and there will be 50 questions and each question carries 2 marks. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers. The second section consists of both objective as well as descriptive type questions. The maximum marks that can be obtained by the candidate in both these papers are 100.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who hold a Post Graduate degree in Biochemistry or allied field with at least 50% marks can apply for this exam. The degree should be obtained from a recognized University which is a member of AIU, New Delhi.

How to apply?

The application form is available in the official website of the University. The candidates have to fill the form online and should click the submit button after completing all the details. They have to take a print out of the same and should send that to Director, Board of Colleges and University Development (BCUD), North Maharashtra University, Umavi Nagar, Jalgaon-425001. They should also attach a DD of Rs.500/- in favour of Registrar, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon which is payable at Jalgaon. The reserved category candidates have to attach a DD of Rs.350/- only.

How to fill the Form?

The candidates are advised to fill the form very accurately without making any mistakes. They have to fill their name in block letters and it should be same as that in the original documents. They have to mention their address and contact number in the appropriate places correctly. They have to specify their category and date of birth in the desired columns without making any mistake as both are important in the future proceedings. They have to correctly mention their qualification details also. They have to go through the form once again after they have completely filled the details to make sure that no important columns are left blank.
