North Maharashtra University was established on on 15th August 1990.  The university offers various courses at post doctoral, doctoral, postgraduate, and undergraduate level. It selects eligible candidates to the Ph.D course through entrance exam. The university imparts education to the students under different faculties such as Law, Mental, Moral & Social Sciences, Arts & Fine Arts, Engineering & Technology, Commerce & Management, Ayurvedic Medicine, Medicine & Pharmacy, Education, and Science.

Structure of North Maharashtra University Ph.D in Polymer Chemistry Entrance Exam

North Maharashtra University Ph.D entrance exam comprises of two parts – Paper I and Paper II. The first paper is a research aptitude test consisting of 50 questions having objective nature. For each correct answer, the candidate will get 2 marks. The second paper includes both theoretical and multiple choice questions. The exam does not have the system of negative marking.

Eligibility Criteria

To appear for Ph.D in Polymer Chemistry entrance exam of North Maharashtra University, the candidates should have done Master’s degree in the concerned subject from a recognized university. They must have got at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam. Or else, equivalent CGPA from any statutory university is also acceptable.

How to Apply?

The application for Ph.D entrance exam of North Maharashtra University can be downloaded from the official website http://nmu.ac.in/. The candidates should fill the online application form. After completing the form, the student should take a printout of the same. The exam fee is Rs. 500/- for general candidates and it is Rs. 350/- for the candidates from backward community. The exam fee must be submitted through Demand Draft, which has to be taken in favor of “Registrar, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon” from any nationalized bank. The DD taken must be payable at Jalgaon. The candidates are required to send the hard copy of the application accompanied with required documents and DD to “Director, Board of Colleges and University Development (BCUD), North Maharashtra University, Umavi Nagar, Jalgaon-425001”. The application form must reach the destination on or before the last date of submission.

How to fill the Form?

First of all, the aspirants should understand the instructions thoroughly. The application form has to be furnished individually. All the columns in the form must be filled neatly. The candidate should write his/her name and date of birth similar to that in the original certificates. The address should be written in detail including the pin code. The applicants should not put any column in the application form vacant. The candidates should ensure that the completed application is attached with all the relevant documents mentioned in the information brochure. Finally, the candidate should check whether he/she has put the signature wherever required in the application.
