Jharkhand Gramin Bank, is a rural bank that is sponsored by the Bank of India and the bank came into existence in the year 2006 on the 12th of June by bringing together four regional rural banks. The bank is functioning under the ambit of the Regional Rural Banks Act 1976.

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 119, which is divided among the different categories of candidates as follows:

• General– 60

• OBC – 14

• ST – 31

• SC – 14

Of these 119 posts, 04 posts are reserved for PWD candidates inclusive of VI, HI and OC candidates and 04 posts are reserved for EXS candidates.

Period of Probation – Period of Probation for Office Assistant Position is one year

Pay Scale: Appointed candidates will be coming under the pay scale of Rs.7200-19300. At present, the total starting emoluments would be Rs.11600 per month inclusive of HRA and DA at the current rate.

Eligibility requirements:

Educational qualification: To apply for the position of Office Assistant in Jharkhand Gramin Bank, candidates must be graduates in any discipline from a recognized university and they should be proficient in local language. Desirable qualification is knowledge of computers.
