National Brain Research Centre was established in the year 1997. It is an autonomous Government Institute or a Deemed University located at Manesar, Haryana. Dr. P.N. Tandon is the President of the centre while Dr. Prasun Kumar Roy is working as a director there. The centre is considered as one of the major neuroscience research group of the country. The centre comes under the Department of Biotechnology of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. This apex co ordinating body is mainly famous for performing research oriented work in the field of understanding brain structure and functions.

Job Profile:

National Brain Research Centre is inviting applications from Indian Nationals for filling up the vacant posts of Office Assistant. The recruitment on the posts will be made initially on contrcat basis for a period of five years with a probation period of one year. However, the contract period may get extended as per the requirement of National Brain Research Centre.

Eligibility:

All interested candidates should strictly follow the age criteria for being eligible for applying for the posts of Office Assistant in National Brain Research Centre. The maximum age limit set for the post is 30 years as on the closing date of the application. Relaxation may be provided to the reserved categories candidates as per the rules of Government of India only.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must possess the essential education or prescribed minimum educational qualification for being eligible. The minimum educational qualification required for the posts is Graduation degree from a recognized institute or university with minimum one year of relevant experience. Knowledge of Computer Applications is also desirable for the specified posts of Office Assistant in National Brain Research Centre. Candidates, who are familier with the rules and regulations of Central Government or Autonomous Bodies, may get preference over others.

The payment of application fee must be done through a Demand Drfat drawn in favour of Director, NBRC payable at Gurgaon/ Manesar. The amount of application fee is non refundable.

Application fee for Other Backward Class candidates: Rs. 50 only
No fee is to be paid by the SC/ST/PH categories candidates. Women candidates are also exempted from the payment of application fee.

Selection Process:

Shortlisted candidates will have to face a personal interview test with the selection committee. Final decision on the selection of candidates will be made only on the basis of the result of this interview test.

Candidates must fill only correct and complete details in the application form. Completed application form, demand draft and attested copies of testimonila sor certificates, are need to be sent in the envelope before the last date.
