Prathama Bank is a sponsered bank by State Bank of India. The bank is also considered or supposed to be the first regional rural bank developed. The bank actually came into exitence in the year 1975. Job Profile:

Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for filling up the vacants posts of Officer Scale-I, Officer Scale-II, Oficer Scale-III and Office Assistant in the Prathama Bank. The deputation of candidates is to be made on permanent basis.

1. Recruitment of Officer Junior Managment Scale-I:
No. of post: 37 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor degree of a recognised University in any discipline or its equivalent.

2. Recruitment of Officer Middle Managment Scale-II:
No. of post: 12 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognised university in Electronics/Communication/Computer Science/ Information Technology or its equivalent.

3. Recruitment of Officer Middle Managment Scale-III:
No. of post: 2 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognised university in any discipline or its equivalent with atleast 50% marks in aggregate.

4. Recruitment of Office Assistant (Multipurpose):
No. of post: 34 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor degree of a recognised University in any discipline or its equivalent with proficiency in local language i.e. Hindi or English.

Age Limit:

The maximum age limit set for the post of Office Junior Management Scale-I: 28 years.
The maximum age limit set for the post of Office Middle Management Scale-II: 32 years.
The maximum age limit set for the post of Office Middle Management Scale-III: 40 years.
The maximum age limit set for the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 28 years.

The relaxation in upper age limit will be provided to the reserved category candidates as per Government of India rules.

Application Fee:

A non refundable application fee is need to be submitted by all interested candidates in the form of a crossed Demand Draft only. The demand draft must be issued by Prathama Bank or a scheduled bank payable at Moradabad (UP).

For the first three posts: General and OBC candidates should pay an application fee of Rs. 400 while SC/ST/PC/Ex.Sm are required to pay Rs. 50 only.

For the post of Ofice Assistant: General and OBC candidates should pay an application fee of Rs. 300 while SC/ST/PC/Ex.Sm are required to pay Rs. 50 only.

Selection Process:

The selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in objective written test and interview. Only eligible candidates will be called for the written test.

How to apply: Candidates are required to apply online through Prathama Bank’s website. Candidates are also required to obtain the system generated printout of the application send it by ordinary post to the respective post box latest by 24 February 2011. All the enclosures must be send in a cover superscribing “Printout of the Application for the post __________________ in Prathama Bank”:
