Uttaranchal Gramin Bank was established in the year 2006 under Government of India. The bank actually came into existence under RRBs Act 1976. The bank resulted after amalgamation of three erstwhile Regional Rural Banks named Ganga Yamuna Gramin Bank, Pithoragarh Kshetriya Gramin bank and Alaknanad Gramin bank. The area of operation of thebank includes the districts of Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, Rudraprayag etc. The bank has its head office located at dehradun. The seven district which comes under the service area of bank are termed as “Zero industry” zone.

Job Profile:

Uttaranchal Gramin Bank invites applications from eligible Indian nationals for filling up the vacant posts of Office Scale-I Group A and Office Assistant Group B. However, the total number of vacancies are provisional and may vary according to the actual requirement of the bank.

Eligibility:

Candidates are required to fulfill all the eligibility conditions set for their desired position in Uttaranchal Gramin Bank. Firstly, candidates should a citizen of India. The age criteria is strictly need to be followed by the candidates.

The minimum age limit set for both the posts is 18 years as on 31 October 2011.
The maximum age limit set for both the posts is 28 years as on 31 October 2011.

SC/ST categories candidates will get relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit while OBC categories candidates will get relaxation of 3 years. Physically Challenged candidates will get relaxation of minimum 10 years in the maximum age limit.

Educational Qualification:

Officer Scale-I Group-A: Degree in any discipline or equivalent from a recognized institute or university. Candidates should also have proficiency in Hindi Language. Knowledge of English is also required. However, preference will be given to the candidates with Computer Knowledge.

Office Assistant Group-B: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline or equivalent from a recognized institute or university is required for the post. Candidates should have proficiency in Hindi and English Language. Preference will be given to the candidates, who possess Computer Knowledge.

Pay Scale:

Officer Scale-I: Consolidated salary of Rs. 14500-25700 per month.
Office Assistant: Consolidated salary of Rs. 7200-19300 per month.

Application Fee:

A non refundable amount of application fee is need to be submitted by the candidates. General and OBC candidates are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 325 while candidtes belonging to SC/ST/PC catgeories should pay Rs. 75 as application fee. The fee should be deposited in either Uttaranacal Gramin Bank or State bank of India. The payment must be done through a Payment Challan which can be downloaded from the website of bank.
