Those having Bachelor of Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc) degree can join to higher education courses like M.Sc in Veterinary Parasitology, M.V.Sc (Pharmacology & Toxicology), or M.V.Sc (Bio-Statistics). They can either try for job positions like Veterinary Medical Officer, Research Fellow, or Research Assistant. Reputed firms such as Karnataka Antibiotics & Pharmaceuticals Ltd (KAPL), National Research Centre on Yak (NRCY), Project Directorate on Animal Disease Monitoring and Surveillance (PDADMAS), Associate Veterinary Clinics Ltd, and Montajat Veterinary Pharmaceuticals Co Ltd, often recruit B.V.Sc holders to such job profiles.
Adequate infrastructure facilities are provided at the Rajalakshmi Engineering College for creating a healthy learning atmosphere. The North Maharashtra University (NMU) often conducts an entrance test for admission to Ph.D (Physics) course. There will be two papers for the entrance test, Paper I and Paper II. Topics such as Research Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Electromagnetic Theory, and Electronics are asked for the written test. Reference books like Testing Reading Comprehension by Robert Troschitz, Environmental Management and Awareness Issues by Roma Mukherjee, Quantum Mechanics by G. Aruldhas, and Condensed Matter Physics by Michael P. Marder can be used for studies.

The placement activities in IIT, Madras are handled by the Training and Placement (T & P) cell functioning at the institute. Companies interested in recruitment can register with the placement office. The registration can be made by filling and submitting a form called as Employment Registration Form (ERF). Registered companies can access the resumes of interested students through online facility. Internship programme is another placement initiative of the company. Duration of the internship programme is 6 weeks. Companies like ITC, Honeywell, Schlumberger, Google, Deutsche Bank, Unilever, Adobe, and IBM frequently provides internship offers for students.
Most of the B.Ed colleges affiliated to Kurukshetra University are self financed. Tulsi College of Education for Women, Gramin College of Education, Singh Ram Memorial College of Education, Babu Anant Ram Janta College of Education, Choudhary Matu Ram College of Education, etc is some of the self financed colleges. B.S.K. College of Education for Women, C.R. College of Education, Hisar, Dr. Ganesh Dass DAV College of Education for Women, etc are some of the aided colleges affiliated to Kurukshetra University.

The Lovely Professional University (LPU) offers admission to integrated M.Phil – Ph.D programme in subjects like Chemistry, Economics, Environmental Science, Physical Education, and Psychology. Admission to MCA course in BIT, Mesra is carried out through n online entrance test. Mathematics, Computer Awareness, English, Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning are the main topics covered under the syllabus for the entrance test. Sub topics like Algebra, Set Theory, Co-ordinate Geometry, and Differential Equations are included in Mathematics where as Operating Systems, Flow chart and Algorithms, Data Representation, Computer Architecture, etc are asked for Computer Awareness.

The NITTE University Post Graduate Entrance Test (NUPGET) is conducted for the admission of candidates to MD/MDS degree. NUPGET comprises of multiple choice questions of 200 numbers. Bangalore, New Delhi, Ernakulam, etc are some of the centers where the candidate can attend the test. Application form can be collected from the web site of NITTE University. Filled up application form along with other documents must be sent through speed post.
