Certain Universities/colleges offer M.Sc (Molecular Biology) as a 5 year integrated course where as some others offers the same as a two year programme. HSC passed candidates with Science (as the main subject) can apply for integrated M.Sc (Molecular Biology) programme in Mysore University. Bachelor degree in Science is required to apply for 2 year M.Sc course. Graduates in Biological, Physical, or Chemical Sciences with a minimum of 60% marks can apply in Delhi University. Entrance test are usually conducted for admission process. Topics in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics are asked for entrance test conducted by Mysore University.

Recruitment is made through a four stage process, aptitude test, Group Discussion, technical interview, and HR interview. The Southern Central Railway has invited applications for filling 1979 vacancies available for the job profile of ‘Trackman’. Those who have completed 10th class or ITI can submit applications till October 15th, 2013. Selection process of suitable candidates is done through written test, physical efficiency test, and medical examination. The written test includes questions based on topics of general awareness/ knowledge, reasoning, and mathematics. Application must be submitted in specific format in A4 size bond paper.

The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre has invited applications for filling 279 vacancies available for the profile of ‘Stipendiary Trainee’. Pass in HSC with a minimum of 60% marks is enough to apply for ‘Stipendiary Trainee (Plant Operator)’ where as HSC + certificate in concerned trade is required for other trades. For certain trades like Laboratory, Instrumentation, and Electrical, ITI/NCVT qualification is also mandatory. Age of the applicant must fall between 18 and 22 years. Reserved category candidates can expect concession in maximum age limit.

The Gujarat State Eligibility Test or GSET is conducted by Maharaja Sahajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara on behalf of the Government of Gujarat for selecting eligible candidates for lectureship. There are three (objective model) papers for the test. Paper I includes questions on teaching /research aptitude where as the other two papers are based on the subject selected by the candidate.
Certain medical colleges across India are approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI) for providing compulsory internship programme. Jawahar Lal Nehru Hospital, Ajmer, Government General Hospital, Rajkot, Central Railway Hospital, Sholapur, Municipal General Hospital, Sion, etc are some of such colleges in West India.
